The kick-off campaign fundraiser, held in College Park on August 29, 2018, raised some much needed new funds for the campaign. It was also successful for bringing together Havis campaign supporters, some from far outside the local College Park area. Those attended enjoyed the social conversation, as well our discussion about my plan to bring more citizen-friendly leadership in the Maryland State Senate.
