On July 11, 2018, Gov. Larry Hogan visited Beltsville for a fundraiser in LD21. As president of the Northern PG Republican Club, Lee led the Club as one of the sponsors for this rreception.  Bill Collet, fellow Club member, was the main organizer for this event.  Governor Hogan is very popular in LD21, which is a great advantage to other Republicans who will appear on the November ballot with him at the head of the ticket.   Many Havis supporters attended in this event, such as shown in the photos below here.  In one photo, the Governor is shown with Paula Oas, and in the background on left, Barbara Walsh and (right) Bill Collet.  in the other photo, l to r, are Lee Havis, Kenny Holiday, and Governor Hogan.
