On April 23, 2026, Lee attended a job fair for members of the African community living in the Beltsville, MD area. At this event, he met a number of the local African-American citizens who were interested in discussing Republican campaign activities. Lee also met other Maryland Republican candidates at this event, such as Jesse Peed and Jonathan White, running for seats in the Prince George’s County Council. In addition, he spoke with John Myrick, Republican candidate for Maryland Governor. A local Prince George’s County citizen, John spoke with Lee about issues of particular interest to the local county community, and how they might communicate further during this campaign season.
